Seychelles, Anse Source d’Argent:
Fine white sand like powder, silvery rocks as if sculpted by human hands, Anse Source d’Argent is perhaps the most famous beach in the world. Its crystal clear waters, impressive rocks and lush vegetation make it a treasure trove waiting to be discovered on La Digue island. The high point of a day at Anse Source d’Argent: the pink tints which appear, little by little, when the sun sets on the horizon.
Koh Samui, Chaweng Beach:
Over the past twenty years, Chaweng Beach has been transformed from a near deserted tropical bay, inhabited by a handful of fishermen and visited by a few adventurous backpackers, into a vibrant, busy, cosmopolitan resort town.
Chaweng’s development has naturally centred on the beach, the main road runs parallel to it, and the beach itself is lined with resorts and hotels along its entire length.
Long stretches of the main road are occupied by small local business selling many different souvenirs, handicrafts while money changing booths and ATMS, Spas, cafes, travel agents, car and motorbike rentals and international-style pharmacies fill the spaces in between.
