It’s not a spiritual retreat or a thrill-seeking holiday—it’s a structured experiential journey using freediving as a training ground for skills that matter in daily life: conscious breathing, composure under pressure, clear self-awareness, and decisive action in unfamiliar situations.The program begins with a mandatory Level-1 Freediving Course (at Lake Constance or at a place of your choice), ensuring safe, confident participation regardless of prior experience. On Faial, days are shaped by weather and sea conditions and include line training, exploration dives between Faial and Pico, a boat trip to Princess Alice seamount, freediving with blue sharks, a guided trek into Faial’s Caldeira, island exploration and snorkeling, and a full-day whale-watching/diving charter.
Participants are guided throughout by Chris Schorpp and Caro Herrmann, supported by local freediving instructor and marine biologist Janaína Bon de Sousa, who oversees technical training and safety.The Activity:

– Princess Alice Mount
- Boat trip to one of the most famous offshore spots in the Azores
- Imagine waters that are deeper than 1,000 metres and suddenly rise to just 35 metres below the surface. This is Princess Alice, an underwater mountain in the mid-Atlantic.
- There we can encounter devil rays, giant tuna and barracudas.
– Trekking & Caldeira descent
- Guided descent into the Caldeira of Faial with our private guide.
