Taller than the Eiffel Tower, India constructs world’s highest railway bridge in Kashmir

India has achieved a major feat by constructing the world's tallest railway bridge, the Chenab Bridge, which stands 29 meters higher than the Eiffel Tower, spanning the Chenab River in Jammu and Kashmir. The 1,315-meter-long bridge is a part of the larger project to connect the Kashmir Valley to the Indian Railway network.

The Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link project includes the construction of the country's longest transportation tunnel and Indian Railways' first cable bridge.
