The 8 days Nepal tour includes visit of the most popular tourist destinations of Nepal. Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan represents the country’s major highlights. While Kathmandu is center of culture and heritage, Pokhara is known as natural capital of Nepal and Chitwan national park boosts wide variety of wildlife including some of the endangered species like Royal Bengal Tiger and Asian single horned Rhinos.
The 8 days tour begins with your arrival in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Hidden in the citadel of mountains, Kathmandu valley have been safe heaven for several culture and spiritual practices. Hundreds of medieval and ancient monuments are still of major importance for festivals and day to day spiritual practices. 7 groups of such monuments make Kathmandu an UNESCO Heritage site.
From Kathmandu we will drive 160 km southwest to Chitwan. Chitwan National Park is the last vestiges of the jungle that once covered the southern planes from the foothills of the Himalayas to the Ganges River. The 950 sq area of dense protected jungle now shelters the last no of Royal Bengal Tigers and Asian Single horned Rhinos.
Pokhara on the other hand is an amphitheater of mountains with Himalayan peaks towards north. The natural setting of lakes, lush valley and the Himalayas make it a perfect place to enjoy the Himalayan scenery.
While we drive one way visiting Chitwan national park and Pokhara, we will fly the other way back to Kathmandu. The driving is the best way to enjoy the mountainous landscape and the turquoise glacial rivers gushing down the valley. The flight back to Kathmandu is panoramic thrill with aerial view of the Himalayas.
